Bible Quiz Competition Guidelines

General Information

Event Name: Spiritual Women Community Virtual Bible Quiz

Purpose: To promote the knowledge of the Word, confidence, and fellowship among children in schools, homeschool groups, and churches.
Format: Virtual (Online Competition)
Participants: Children representing churches, families, or schools.

Age Groups:
Group 1: Ages 5-7
Group 2: Ages 8-10
Group 3: Ages 11-13

Registration (April-June)

1. Registration continues through June.
2. Orientation session for participants and parents.
3. Word lists are provided for practice.

Elimination Rounds (July-August)

• Virtual elimination rounds begin.
• Participants compete to qualify for the final round.

Final Round & Awards Ceremony (September 13)

• Final rounds of the competition.
• Winners will be announced and awarded.

1. Participation Rules

• Each participant must register under a church, school, or family.
• Words will be selected from age-appropriate vocabulary lists.
• Participants will have 30 seconds to spell each word after hearing it.
• Judges will confirm correctness before proceeding to the next round.
• The competition follows an elimination format until winners are determined.
• In case of a tie, an extra round will be held with progressively harder words.

2. Judging & Scoring

• Each correctly spelled word earns a participant 1 point.
• A participant is eliminated after two incorrect attempts in a round.
• Judges’ decisions are final and binding.
• No external help or coaching is allowed during the competition.

3. Technical Requirements

• Participants must have access to a stable internet connection.
• A working microphone and camera are required for virtual participation.
• Competitors must join the competition link at least 10 minutes before their scheduled time.

4. Awards & Recognition

• Winners in each age group will receive certificates and prizes. Participation certificates will be awarded to all contestants.
